Staying Mindful

When designing the first set of mugs for the ‘Be Affirmed Collection’, I hesitated for a second. As an advocate for self love, I had to decide if this mug was insensitive to people struggling with the feelings of being in the wrong shell, or body dysmorphia. Because I never want to be dismissive, I didn’t change it. Without our thoughts, and awareness, we are shells. Autonomy matters. ❤ I thought about my friends, and had to be sure they understood what this means. However you identify, you are wonderfully made. The fact that we care to know, and acknowledge, our true selves is proof enough of that.
