Perfection is something we’ve discussed quite a bit, and it seemed like a great read to start this New Year. So much of my anxiety is caused by the lie that I have to be perfect in order to feel worthy, seen or acknowledged. “Be Affirmed: Fade to Black” would never have been released if it had to be what I considered to be perfect, in order to hand over that manuscript. This site wouldn’t exist if it had to be “perfect” to be. That’s the thing, the desire for perfection will keep some of us stagnant. Move, loves. Forward… We can always continue trying to do & be better, but progress is also notable. Be affirmed, beloveds.
