2019 was my first time getting in on festival season, and I was able to attend Ohio Lesbian Festival with a group of friends. It was an amazing experience, combined with so many firsts. It was my first time camping, and being in a space surrounded by beautiful talented people. I did not want to leave! Ever been somewhere, with thousands of people, left your phone on a tree stump & retrieved it hours later? Ever been able to disrobe and not feel ogled? Ever sat around a campfire with all strangers, but left with friends? Have you ever been in a space, inside of another space, that felt magical? There was a designated spot for Women of Color, and it was like being inside of a magicians hat! 🎩 The pandemic started shortly after, and everything was canceled. However, I still carry that feeling with me. Tell me about the first time, if ever, you experienced such a place. I’d love to read your stories, and discuss. It‘s worth noting, this is the type of space I hope to create here. Welcome & enjoy 🌬🕯
